Two brothers. One kitchen. A decade in the making.

Knockout Kitchen didn't begin in a boardroom. It began at home, more than 10 years ago, with two brothers, a passion for sport and nutrition, a professional boxing career, and one simple problem: healthy food was boring.
I'm Hamza Yousuf, co-founder of Knockout Kitchen alongside my brother Muhammad Ali. After completing my BSc in Sport Science, I already had a strong interest in training, nutrition and how the right food can support performance.
Ali is a professional boxer, currently undefeated at 16–0 and WBC Asia Welterweight Champion, and the UK's first professional boxer with Type 1 diabetes to be granted a professional boxing licence by the British Boxing Board of Control.
When Ali was younger and competing as an amateur, our mum and I used to prepare his meals ourselves to support his training, with extra care given his Type 1 diabetes on top of the nutritional demands of competitive boxing.
And there was one problem.
They looked boring.
Plain chicken. Plain rice. The same kind of meals over and over again.
Coming from a Pakistani family, that wasn't how we knew food. We grew up with spice, marinades, bold flavours and that proper Asian kick.
So that's exactly what we started doing. We began preparing meals for Ali from our family kitchen, combining my background in Sport Science, Ali's experience as an athlete and the flavours we'd grown up with. Ali's boxing teammates started trying the meals too, word spread, and before long people were coming to our family home just to get them.
Seeing the demand, we decided to turn what had started in our kitchen into a real business. What started in our home kitchen in Rochdale, Greater Manchester grew into our first physical location, where we introduced our take on healthy fast food alongside freshly prepared meal preps. Over the next 10 years, that single kitchen grew into three Knockout Kitchen stores, and we cooked thousands of meals for a loyal local customer base.
Then we started hearing the same thing again and again: "When are you bringing Knockout Kitchen to my area?" Customers just outside our shops wanted in too.
So, 10 years after starting this journey, we're ready for our biggest step yet.
We're taking the meals, flavours and experience we've developed over the last decade and delivering them ourselves, fresh, every Sunday, directly to doors across our selected Greater Manchester delivery areas.
Because whether you're an undefeated professional boxer or simply someone trying to eat better during a busy week, we believe the same thing: you shouldn't have to choose between your goals and food that tastes good.
This started with two brothers making meals at home. Now we're bringing them to you.
